Thunderbirds Announce 2023-24 Home Opener

(Halifax, NS) September 21, 2023 - The Halifax Thunderbirds kick off the National Lacrosse League’s 2023-24 season on Friday, December 1, welcoming the Saskatchewan Rush to Scotiabank Centre. Opening faceoff is set for 8:00pm AT. 

 

“I think it is a true testament to what is being built here in Halifax to host the kick-off game in the National Lacrosse League,” said Thunderbirds President and CEO John Catalano. “Night after night our fans pack The Nest and have helped us create one of the most exciting cities across North America to experience an NLL game.”

 

A full NLL and Thunderbirds schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

 

Tickets for the home opener will go on sale October 23, with full-season single-game tickets available for purchase on November 1
