HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (February 10, 2022) – With the most recent announcement from the provincial government of restrictions being eased, the Halifax Thunderbirds are excited to announce their return to Scotiabank Centre starting with their Feb.19 game against the Georgia Swarm.
In accordance with provincial guidelines, the Thunderbirds and Scotiabank Centre will be able to allow 3,000 fans to each game through March 14. After that date, that amount of fans will increase to 5,000 fans through April 14, with plans to entirely lift attendance and concessions restrictions after that second phase’s completion.
“We’re incredibly excited to be back home in Halifax, in front of our home crowd. We look forward to being able to pack the building in what we hope is in the near future,” said Thunderbirds owner and GM, Curt Styres.
Tickets that have already been purchased for the remaining home games will still be valid. To purchase single game tickets, please visit https://ticketatlantic.co/thunderbirds
Team President & CEO, John Catalano stated, “The Thunderbirds organization continues to thank our partners at Scotiabank Centre, Events East and Ticket Atlantic for their cooperation and support in navigating the remaining home games for the 2021-22 Thunderbirds season.”
