Thunderbirds, David Brock agree to one-year contract

(HALIFAX, NS) October 12, 2023 – The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced that the team has signed defender David Brock to a one-year contract. 

“It was a no-brainer to re-sign in Halifax. I want to win a championship. Period," Brock said. 

Brock, 37, is a 12-year veteran of the National Lacrosse League who just wrapped up his second season in The Nest. 

The veteran signed a deal to rejoin the Thunderbirds ahead of the opening game of the 2022-23 season, and appeared in 11 games, scoring a goal and five points to go along with 41 loose balls and three caused turnovers. 

In 166 career games, Brock has 46 goals,102 points, and 736 LBs. He surpassed the 100-point mark for his career this past season.
