Thunderbirds Hire Joe Sullivan as Director of Scouting

The Halifax Thunderbirds announced today that the organization has hired former NLL head coach Joe Sullivan as the team’s Director of Scouting. Sullivan will join the team on a one-year term, and was with the club for the NLL Entry Draft last Thursday.

He brings an impressive resume to the team, having spent time coaching with the Chicago Shamrox, Toronto Rock, and was the head coach and assistant general manager with the Minnesota Swarm, where he won the Les Bartley Award for Coach of the Year in 2012.

Sullivan admits he’s looking forward to helping to craft the future talent pool of the Halifax Thunderbirds.
