Thunderbirds Ink Luc Magnan to a Two-Year Deal

Halifax, Nova Scotia – The Thunderbirds announced today that defender Luc Magnan has been signed to a two-year deal.

“I am excited for the next chapter with Thunderbirds,” said Magnan. “I’m eager to get out there and start playing again, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

The Pine Falls, Manitoba native just finished his fourth season in the National Lacrosse League. He finished third on the team with a career-high 108 loose balls. On March 11, 2019 he was named a road alternate captain.

“Luc was the product of hard work,” said Owner and General Manager Curt Styres. “He came to Rochester and has become one of our hardest workers. He pushes everyone else around him to be better and we are truly thankful that he has committed to us for the next 2 years.”
