Thunderbirds sign Brayden Hill to a two-year deal

Halifax, Nova Scotia- The Thunderbirds have announced that they have signed Brayden Hill to a two-year deal. Hill comes to Halifax after spending most of the 2019 season with the Philadelphia Wings. The Six Nations, Ontario product collected 10 loose balls in 4 games for the Wings last season.
“I have been watching him play for several years and he really got my attention in his Jr A career when his team won back to back Minto Cup championships,” said Owner and General Manager Curt Styres. “We are fortunate to have Brayden coming to camp and the for the opportunity to have him join our Halifax family."
Brayden who’s from Six Nations, ON was selected in the Third round (25thoverall) in the 2016 Entry Draft by Georgia. In his three seasons as a professional lacrosse player Hill has played for Georgia, Rochester and Philadelphia.
Hill who has served as the Six Nation Rebels captain for the past two years, lead his team to success this year at the President’s Cup tournament. His team hoisted the Cup after defeating the Akwesasne Bucks 9-5.
“I love the east coast and I love Halifax, so I’m beyond excited to get to play for such an amazing team in an amazing city,” said Hill.
