HALIFAX, NS (September 7, 2024) – The Halifax Thunderbirds announced today that the team has signed Coady Adamson to a one-year contract.

Adamson, 36, is coming off a summer where he helped the Ladner Pioneers take home their third straight Presidents Cup.

The Whitby, Ontario product played junior ball for his hometown Warriors in the OJLL, making the jump to the WLA for the majority of his senior lacrosse career.

He spent time with Maple Ridge, Coquitlam, Burnaby, and Langley over four summers, posting 40 goals and 109 points in 50 games.

This past summer with Ladner in the West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association, Adamson had 20 goals and 30 points in 10 outings. During the Presidents Cup, he appeared in seven games, scoring a pair of goals to go along with 4 points.

“I would say for the people that know me that this has been a long time coming,” Adamson said. “I’ve been working a very long time to get an opportunity to prove that I can play in this league and to finally get that with a team like Halifax means a lot. This opportunity won’t be wasted and I am ready to prove it at camp”
