Thunderbirds Launch Training Club
(August 10, 2020) Halifax, NS – The Halifax Thunderbirds announced today the launch of their new training program called the Thunderbirds Training Club. With the changes in today’s society, the Thunderbirds are adapting with the times.
Thunderbirds forward, Kyle Jackson, Director of Lacrosse Development and Promotion, will spearhead this new initiative.
“Given our worldly circumstances, it is our job to find ways to adapt and continuing to grow the Thunderbirds brand within Nova Scotia,” said Jackson. “With an app-based platform and an archive of lacrosse related workouts, we hope to grow our community outside of just the Atlantic region.”
This program will have two key elements. There will be an online training platform that anyone of all ages can subscribe to for a monthly fee of $19.99. For the eager early birds, a limited time offer of $15.99 will be available. The workouts, wall ball routines and more will be accessible for the participants at their own leisure with instructions on how to do the exercises.
This program offers a combination of both the training app and in-person lacrosse sessions for ages 5 and up. The in-person sessions will operate weekly for 5 weeks starting the week of August 17 and can be done in a small group setting or individual based.
See below for times of both the group and individual sessions. The solo sessions will be booked based on availability. All in-person sessions will take place at the Halifax Commons.
Pricing:
$550 for 5 sessions (1-on-1) + app access
$400 for 5 weeks in small groups (10 people) + app access
$19.99 for just the app but offering limited time sale of $15.99

The program will be following all of the rules and regulations regarding Covid-19 guidelines in Nova Scotia.
